Preston Merchant lives in Union City, California. He teaches photography as an adjunct professor at Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism in New York and was a featured artist in the Smithsonian Institution’s exhibit, “Beyond Bollywood: Indian Americans Shape the Nation.” He has contributed pictures to the Wall Street Journal, NPR, CNBC, India West, India Abroad, The Caravan, The Hindu, Himal Southasian, and other places.
